vintage treasure in our basement
So you didn't grow up with a sturdy old chair with character, one favored by Mom or Dad? We can help with that.
In our basement, we have probably 75 older chairs, loveseats and rockers dating from the late 1800s to the mid-1900s that once graced someone's living room but are now faded and creaky. Ever sat in a channelback chair, or an upholstered rocker? They're soft...cozy...relaxing...and no longer made. We invite you to consider reupholstering them, and taking them home.
Here's a link to a few of our available pieces. We'll update this portfolio from time to time. Vintage Furniture for Reupholstery and Sale.
We realize that upholstery is expensive, and there are lookalikes out there that might seem just as good. But they're not. We know. If you choose one of our chairs, you'll end up with a piece that is ready for another 50 to 100 years, in the fabric of your choice. You will have saved some valuable landfill space, and sent a message to manufacturers that you won't buy their cheap stuff.
Stop by anytime for a tour of our basement. The furniture is all free, except for the reupholstery. If you really like something as-is, we might consider selling it outright. Maybe you'll be inspired to reupholster!
